Things imo that would need implementing in order to keep the server afloat

In my honest opinion I think the only way to keep it afloat is with some sort of sales revenue coming in. EVERY GAME has it that isn't p2p. I would be for buying cps and using them on things that do not GREATLY change the gameplay.

such as:
Heavens Bless
Exp Balls (limit 5 per day)
Exp Potions
Garments
Ninja size change
Etc.
Things that don't greatly change the game.

NO:
Stones/Dbs/Single and Double socketing tools/
Things that really change the game.

I would bet they add the things above that don't change it greatly.
It would be the best thing to keep it afloat

Well I was just saying what they almost certainly would do. Exp pots and potions are in almost every game. Its logical because it doesn't add an insane advantage. Coming from a business standpoint it would make the most sense. Heavens blessing is also not crazy helpful. Exp pot every day bleh, 20 pc extra exp when lvling blah, . But given it when you have nothing it would be great.

Bless affects the game more than you think I believe.

Exp balls and pots save time but wouldn't TQ prefer we take longer to level up and therefore play the game longer, making us more likely to break and buy dbs? Who knows. I dislike the idea of either.

The ninja thing was around without a token for ages... there was a size change npc. It still cost a db either way.

I hate the garments honestly.

The problem is, all of these things would involve the use of CPs, and that's just a few steps away from the shopping mall being included. The stones/drills you don't want included would be there within a year, and the worst part? You'd have that bloody shopping mall icon on your screen again. I miss the days when the screen was devoid of bull****, and the biggest annoyance would be having the question mark for your level up quest start flashing, or people repeatedly asking to join your guild or team.

I just want a pure CO 1.0 from patch 4277, no bless (killing blessed players and getting cursed was annoying)

cps made the economy pretty complicated because you have to change your gold into cps which in turn you use to buy items. - whats the point in having gold then? why not just credit dragonballs so they exchange for a high amount of gold?

exp balls were only useful in endgame; exp balls used while leveling kind of defeats the purpose.

exp potions were once 20 minutes a pop.

garments were first introduced in dis city. they were a symbol of status early on because not many people could complete it.

in short, co was fine the way it was: economy flowed, people were fairly content, and most of all buying dragonballs only provided a slight advantage.

If there were an NPC to swap DBs for cash, it would set the market.

By introducing CPs and items only purchasable with CPs, it increases DB sales through inflation and all sorts of fun stuff.

CPs also make it possible to divide a DB into parts. 215 parts, to be exact. Everything sells for more in parts than as a whole.

Seriously, why is everyone trying to convince TQ to add stuff into CO 1.0. If you want to play with those, stay in 2.0, keep 1.0 how it was first introduced.

The thing that people don't seem to understand is that TQ doesn't do this for ****s and giggles. They do it to make money. Im NOT suggesting they do these things. Im simply saying that it is most likely what they will do. This is a business it is NOT simply for your enjoyment. If you want them to stay legit and not make these servers act the same way as the current ones do, this is the most logical way they will go about it.

HB changes the game a lot leveling-wise. No to balls and pots too - no cutting slack.

Garments are nice, but shopping mall is not. One could tie them to gold though.

yeah from your post it looks damn well like you're suggesting it.

heaven stone is the one single item that ruined the game. and xp potions and balls took out the point of leveling.

all in all a horrible suggestion. you should apply for work at TQ (NOT).

We understand this dear.

What you may not understand, however, is that if TQ decides to fill CO Classic with various "features" that make the game less desirable to play, then no one here will bother playing.

Most of the people who wish to play CO Classic are going to be old players. They've either already quit and won't be buying DBs on CO 2.0, or they're high levels with gear and have no reason to buy DBs on CO 2.0.

If TQ screws up CO Classic by trying to squeeze some extra revenue into the game, they may end up scaring off their only customer base.

Even a small amount of profit with the original CO 1.0 features intact is going to be superior to an empty server (ie: no profit) with CO 2.0 features.

If TQ is going to make an intelligent business decision regarding CO Classic, they'll make it just the way it was in 1.0, with the exception of devastating bugs corrected.
