I don't really know how much of it was nostalgia, but it was definitely a more interesting time. The game had less going on so the politics felt like they mattered more.

Just now returning to the game. Been 3 days and already lv.101 (guess it's not the quickest since everything's now all over the place, but that was far too easy). It's difficult keeping up. Game is way easier now to level too

Wow, not many people from Ruby. I must have started in 2001 or so? Probably played till 2008. I could see where this game was heading unfortunately. With the introduction of BP it made people with money invincible however for some reason it was still fun just socializing and dealing with rivals.

Sad to see what it's become (I actually don't want to know how bad it is).

Have bought and paid 1/3rd off my home since last here. Miss my old nin-nin-nin.

Who am I?
I am/was the Warrior Durant from pyramid. One of the 2nd generation warriors who fought on the server of Pyramid taking up the torch after other greats left to the server split Beauty and Beast.

What was I known for?
On the server not that much really as I Warrior and not trojan, but the most memorable things about me would probably be:

1. Ultimate leader of the Defenders guild.
2. Deputy leader of the ArchAngels guild under DoC
3. Hated botters and constantly got in trouble for pking botting trojans in mc.
4. Only warrior to go to war with Viet (a high level botting trojan) was probably the highlight of my playing days.
5. First +12 shield on pyramid (although still didnt save me from trojan's attack)

Other than that (although I may have forgotten a few) I was more known for my work on the forums. An avid suggestions noob, I stayed in that section (my first post in my server chit chat didnt come till almost 3 months after my registration date) . After some time I was modded and did some more work on the forums till I resigned in Nov 08.

What have I been doing and what am I doing now?
After my resignation, been working on finishing up my college classes. So far havent failed a class yet (knocks on wood). As for game playing, I still jones for a good mmo but not currently playing any. Will I return to CO? Probably not. I still see no reason to return (plus client deleted from desktop long ago) but who knows what the future holds. Maybe pigs will get robotic wings in the future...

I had a trojan named Falcon, and fire tao named Hyperion.
Was playing from about 2003-2008ish.

I remember being pked by KardelSharpEye when Pyramid was new and virtually no one had been rbed. So he used to run around AC using his guard to kill everyone... ahh those days lol

Wow, never thought I'd revisit these forums, so much has changed in the few decades since I played. When I think about it, it feels almost like yesterday. I played on Dragon>Cinderella/Snow White with my brothers. My characters (I think) Were ^Sapphire^ a water-fire? I think, and Delita_Heiral, which I believe was a Warrior-Warrior, my older brother played a Troj-Troj named Konan638 , and my oldest brother played a Troj Troj named Sifu_Fong, also a water-fire named Mr.Nice, a water-water-???? named Dark~SK (bought character I believe) and another one named mr.moneybags that was just a mule?

Sifu_Fong passed away back in January 2011, and I've got all these memories of the chatting with friends in ape city, practicing fast blade and SS with people in the guild area, all the pointless pk wars especially with Egyptian and Brazilian players. Never knew how big of an impact it had, all of us had our own stories and struggles yet we all shared a common space to hang out and vent our frustrations.

I hope each and everyone of you who were also going through something back then, I hope you are all in a better place mentally and physically. Especially Asmarah. It was so much fun playing with all of you.
