Q:What are Rune Skills
A:Rune skills are tq's latest attempt to increase the money in their pocket by giving a new set of skills for bulkers to spend their money on. There are 3 types of runes Red Runes, Blue Runes (with each one having 27 levels, 28 for monk), and Yellow Runes (9 levels each) each with a variety of passive and active effects. Here are the effects of the runes after a quick translation (thanks to google translate) from the chinese CO site (for those of you too lazy to go search).

Dragon Warrior
Red Rune: Stalking step
-Passive Skill: The dodge rate for lethal and multiple shots increased by 30% Dodge rate for normal attacks by archer and assassin increased by 30%

Red Rune: Frost Arrow Rain
Active Skill: Lower stamina recovery speed to 0 for those affected by the skill for 8 seconds. The greater the bp difference the lower the success rate cooldown 20 seconds. (It's essentially the assassin skill dagger storm)

Blue Rune: Unlimited Fire Power
Active Skill: When flying you can't move and get an increased attack speed and damage

Water Taoist
Red Rune: Against the Cold
Active Skill: Consume % life (ratio 1:1.3) to final p.atk up to a maximum of 40%. Re-cast to cancel. Does not take effect when equipped with a bow or a knife.

Blue Rune: Mu Rain and Light
Active Skill: Revive teamates in the same screen while increasing their maximum hp.

Yellow Runes are not class determined so anyone can wear any 3 at a time.

Blood Back to the Yuan
- Can Enhance Blood of God Level. (no clue what this is for now)

Souls
-Magic Damage done to players below 15k add some Final M.Atk dmg. (level 9 rune = 6k final M.Atk)

Broken mysterious Yuan
- Can reduce the target mosaic Xuan Yuan gem injury-free effect. (Xuan Yuan Gems = Tortoise Gems)

Shaken Star tactics
- Can enhance Star suction Dharma level. (no clue)

Everything is born
-Automatically restore health and magic every 5 seconds. (lv 9 rune = 20k hp and mp every 5 secs)

Impeccable
-Probablility of immune dysfunction. (not sure 100% probably effects like fog and ww xp dot. lv 9 rune = 50% chance to be immune)

Violent Nemesis
-Each attack reduces the targets XP state. (lv 9 rune = 9 seconds each hit)

Winds and Clouds
-Chance of breaking backpack items when defeating players. (level 9 rune = increased by 45%. I am assuming it it items in regular invetory that get destroyed and not sash.)

Rebirth
-Reduce magic consumption of skills. (level 9 rune = no magic cost.)

Kill the Wolf
-Can increase damage caused by the devil
(level 9 rune = 300% max. I think it is increased damage against bosses.)

Chasing
-physical damage dealt to other players below 22k will increase add some final P.Atk. (level 9 rune = 10k P. Atk)

Perennial endless
-Attacking while XP skill is active increases the length of the XP skill by 1 second. (lv 9 rune = 9 seconds each hit. Seems like unlimited XP to me)

Resurgence of the soul
-enhances soul of the sky level (again no clue)

The final p.atk, final m.atk, final m.dmg, final p.dmg may be swapped with one another somewhat hard to tell what they were.( ex. final p.atk is actually final m.atk, final p.dmg is actually final m.dmg and vice versa)

Thanks for the list, On ninja, I don't think its Scythe, hook sounds more like Mortal Drag to me. I could be wrong though.

Also, curious about the mechanics of the Tro health. I wonder if it prevents deathblows while the rune is off CD or if you get 1 shot you die. Interesting to see.

For fires, its not that big of deal upgrading as I stated in another thread, I wonder if their red skill will do +20k to players knocked up by monks & Dwars.

Another edit, Archers that are facing anyone except fires/monks/nin/wars (maybe Dwar/WW) Will be OP. Unlimited fly if its the xp skill fly seems broken lol.


*Edit, Also the water skill maybe I'm doing this wrong but say an average good water has 60k HP. *.55 = 33k hp * 1.4= 46,200 final p damage. Just put on a throwing knife dodge around with your 27k hp and be a god lols.

Hello everyone and thank you IKillAll =)

Looks like runes might change things a bit in game... And about reviving water skill, not just backfires, but I already have visions of water domination hahahah... 2 waters combo... water 1 dies, water 2 revives water 1 and gives 120k life, then water 1 casts that +final p damage... If those 2 active skills can work together and the numbers are those on the site, just monks will survive I guess >.<

If this is true, and IF there is no way to p2w it. Then this is the best thing to happen to CO. Gives players something to work towards as long as you can grind it daily and not for a set amount of time etc, also no auto hunting. This would put a balance in the game for bulkers vs non bulkers. Bulkers got chi/perfection, this would give non bulkers a rune system with slight upgrades. Hopefully, this is true, I'm skeptical though.

Great news for trojans , and maybe all classes? The chinese website introduction is not completed.. it is odd they have more information then the english version though !

In the future, the Trojan will multiply his Stamina recovery speed when it is lower than a certain value(Pay attention to the maximum of Stamina won***8217;t be increased). There will be a system where you can daily quest it (I guess based on my exp with this game). Also you can pay cps to get it instantly. The only question is if like perfection it takes over 6000 days to fix it without paying.

Yeah, this is the most likely scenario. He was saying the opposite that it's not p2w and can only be done in game. Which I would love to see again to bring a more balanced approach to the game.
