Question about shields: I just seen a ninja with lvl 120 shield. How is this possible ?

They can only wear shields after lvl 70 and can wear shield lvl 40-70 legally, but they can upgrade them further in market and when the shield is damaged they put it on a warrior, repair it and then make it small again and put it back on the 70+ nin.

To wear 77+ shields on characters that are not warriors is illegal, however, they will not get banned. A GM will just remove the shield from the character. This does not stop the char from lowering and wearing the shield again.

Yeah but the GM doesn't take off your poison blade, whereas the items that do not match your class are removed either by the GM or by Alt-Equipment (it says it removes the item mandatory)

TQ said that they added 120 shield leveling in market with a new patch long ago.

according to hemp they shouldn't remove em either. last time my kats got unequipped because a guy was claiming I was bugged (realloted for more hp). woke up with kats in inventory and a nice gm note lol

Go read TQ's site. You can upgrade anything in market regardless of class or stat requirement. It is the feature of market upgrading for 5+ years.

The upgrade NPC should have said you don't have the required stats to wear the item, however, it being bugged, it only says that if the item is damaged. Something tells me TQ intended to only allow leveling of items if you had the required stats.

There were cases when a GM had unequipped the items off of characters as well. Why did they do that if it was allowed?

The alt-equip will unequip the gears that you do not have stats for. Again, why does it do that?

Because noone besides me is smart enough to find where TQ says on the site that it is a feature. I'll give you a hint for one of them. FAQ's and market NPC.
