Bloody Kings AI...

these monsters run away too much....when I am playing warrior and i assume it is similar for trojan..

occasionally they will stand and attack but too often they run away -- more than normal monsters --

you guys should change what decides a monster to run away.. not thta they are not quite in direct line to attack and get hit,, but just make the mobs more attracted and random chance for any to run away... and reduce it... monsters running away adds a bit of realism.. but the way it actually works is annoying...

nonetheless... these monsters are worse than any others..

some monsters have AI to run away

these mosnters are as follow:

Mostly all kings

&

Bloody King (In Mystic Cave)
Devil King (Lv 120 one's)

it's only annoying as ur superman gets wasted, try not to complain just to get a advange over other classes, running away mosnters is not a bug

I usually just jump in front of them and attack. When I hit they usually start hitting me again.

jump here --->X

when you land, it will be:

and you rarely miss that way... its only failed for me 3 times and i spent 150 levels on a warrior and tro combined not missing a monster because they run. (leve 100 warrior, level 50 tro)
I'll have to try that method instead, because mine doesn't always work

Most monsters have a tendency to run away if they can`t get to you after a little while.
For instance when another monster is blocking their path.

Very annoying when kings do it even more when there is nothing blocking them though.

Lol yeah there are some monsters set to do that, SeniorBandit, they will run up to you and start attacking, but you hit them and they run away lol. Just like VampireKings i think is what it's called. Few others do it too but most the time it's just because they can't get to you so they run XD.

zaN_Nen that SAME thing frustrated me for quite awhile.. yes I am a trojan..

and those 'kings' which are different from other 'kings'.... Ape King, and other 'kings' are VERY different from the 'normal' creatures that inhabit the locations.. these 'kinds' are just slightly more powerful...{edits to add.. 'slightly more powerful than the normal creatures'}

Yes they tend to run... I have on almost ALL occassions hit them once, then they run. EVen if I am attacking another creature and they come up.. once my 'rage' hits them.. they turn tail and haul ass.

Is this a bug? I doubt it.. the BloodyKings are just chicken****..~L~

My advice is to basically 'ignore' them.. attack the normal creatures and when a 'bloodyking' DOES stay.......... go ahead and kill them.. but don't chase them down.. it just wastes time.

An addition.. the chasing of a 'runa-way' creature.. I've found that for me that best method is to leap AHEAD of them...and swing.. let them run INTO your attack.. but of course if you can't 1-hit them..they will usually run off in another direction.

sorry for rambling so much..~L~

Well. I think it's just outright ridiculous that you can't hit them in the back If there are going to be monsters running away because of realism it would seem that it would also add to the realism if you could hit them in the back wouldn't it? though it's very chicken and not "the trojan way"
