Nope, no interest in making E-9... walk around shake hands all day. fook that. I'm a Chief though. Prolly make 8 by time i get out... but dun like even numbers... so hope to stay a Chief =D

We are the Medical piece onboard Ship. Many, like myself, are 'green' side... or are embeded with w/ Marine units instead of being haze gray.

I prefer being a combat corpsman myself.... ship life is cool to tho.

'A' School was only 3 months, but then I went to Field Medical Service School for another 2 months. After a few duty stations, i put in for advanced lab school (1yr long and got my associates). Lots of other training as well, ACLS, EMT, Sickcall Screeners, OEMS, EVOC, etc. With all the training, I was able to finish my bachelors in medical sciences fairly easy. Free degree, go NAVY! lolz
