Magic The Gathering - Who Plays?

Just a curious question.

I not only play, I buy and sell cards online.

How about you?

I'm playing it but I'm not interested in buying or selling cards.

Every few weeks I join a draft for fun too. Only one word. CHROMATICORES.

Somewhere at home I have thousands of MTG cards from c. 1995? I don't play any more.

I used to play amongst friends.
I also used to buy online, never sell though.
Now I mostly collect.

Can't complain about last weeks sealed. Can't be happy either.

6 born of the gods boosters. Got Phenax, Ephara and Xenagos. Although it gave me a smile, it absolutely sucks to have these in a sealed since you can only use one properly

I have the xbox game, however I've never gotten into it, is it worth doing?

Online games, no.

It's a card game. Play with the cards. Opening boosters is way more fun in real life than virtually.

Maybe it was when I was a kid, back when Yu-Gi-Oh got big, but I think I've outgrown the whole excitement of opening booster packs.

Not to mention I have better things to spend money on, the game was a free download for those with an xbox live sub at the time.

I dislike the online games. Too limited.

But yea, MTG is the CCG that has conquered its permanent spot much like WoW did with MMO's.

That's probably why I didn't get into it then, oh well, it was only free.

World of Warcraft should never have been as popular as it was, awful game.

It introduced some improved mmo gamemechanics but at the same time turned them into games mainly for casuals.

Even though I'm not a fan of many MMO's, I can see that it has helped evolve the way they are being made, yet I think the bad sides of it are a lot more noticeable than the good.

That's your opinion. I think it does deserve it. The core people that play(ed) that game were those that were already in the warcraft universe. It's an amazing universe.

It was still the best MMO when it released too.

Tell this the tons of people that are bored of MMO simply because of what WoW did to the genre.

Luckily some devs decided not to make another crappy clone of WoW and are working on a sandbox MMORPG.
