Hi all!

Im planning to get +8 weapons but Im confused
2 options
--> 2 x (+8) katanas.....
--> (+8) club/sword.....

I can only chose one or other cos +8 elite items in my server are about 40 dbs worth so I hav to stick with it....with no regret at all

wat is yr advice ?

i have 2 +8 -5 130 katanas, but i re-alotted and am now using a +7 120 club -5 and 130 +6 sword -5 and having WAY moar fun. o_o; even with the drop in BP... katanas just piss me off, sure theyre strong but when youre fighting people i fight, theres always a fire tao around zapping u and keeping u from regaining stamina, and once a ninjas stamina is gone (after 4 2fs), ur basically an ugly paperweight o_o; the bulkers i fight wont die in 4 2folds anyway, which is *** SAD. so i prefer ss'ing way moar. my katanas have been rotting away in wh lol xD

After you lose the stamina from ss, how do you regain your stamina? TFB also doesn't waste stamina like ss does.

It depends if you want to ss or tfb. Pick the one you want to play with more.

yesh yesh yesh yesh yesh, thats why u try not to miss with ss =D!!

it doesnt take as much stamina for SS, so u dont need to sit-jump as much to be ready to attack again ...but 2fold u need a lot of stam just for 1 atk o_o; and 1 2fold wont kill any of the people that kos me or that i play with x_x;~ so it gets old having to run away to try and regain stamina =/ cause its mad stupid to even try direct-hitting anyone with katanas v_v; 99% of the time they miss, and since theres no skill like nix/rage to go off, its retarded looking lolol ;x

my friend asked me the same thing as the OP of this thread, hes a ninja like me but wayy moar bp and better gears, (+12 talis ^^), but he took me to jail and showed me how ****ty it is to direct atk people, he was hitting me with his katanas and didnt hit me once in like 8 tries o_o; he was kinda mad i think that i switched from katanas to sword/club x_X; he said i was his idol char with my katanas ...said thats why he made the ninja to begin with, and now hes the king of our server xD +12s and 2 +8 katanas ... hes a really cool person tho ^_~; i told him the same thing, as disapointing as it was to say, sword/club is funner for me than dual katanas ._.;~ dunno if hes gunna switch or not though

i even actually thought about composing my 2 katanas into my new sword/club o_o; rofl

fb/ss is way more effective if you have decent aim. hell, even without good aim it is more fun and practicing will help you in the longrun.

I'm both sick of my katana using ninja as well as my spear wielding water just because of how lame pvp is. Fighting anyone who has played for awhile is fail for the most part because avoiding these attacks is easy.

randy, do you mean in 8 tries he didnt manage to 2fb you once while you killed him each time with SS? If so that definitely shows how much katanas blow compared to fb/ss skills considering that if he had more potency than you, which it seems he did considering the +12s you mentioned, you were probably only hitting him for 3-4k each?

Agreed. I use dual swords on my Nin/War/tro. But he is a ninja pretending to be a tro so he cant herc. :/

It depends on the person though. Telling the OP one way or another isn't fair to the OP. The OP may hate to ss and love to tfb. It isn't like we are living with the decision he made.

I was just asking how you was getting stamina as ss/fb ninja since you said tfb ninjas don't get stamina.

I believe it depends on who you are fighting.

TFB vs. Trojan/Warrior/Melee Water
TFB wins because its easy to get inside defense.
TFB vs. Fire = epic fail
Fire will whittle away at hp till your dead so FB/SS is best way to go.
Depends on what you like.

BUT TFB + AUTOCLICK = RAPE ALL K

noooooo u silly goose xD! im talkin bout direct hits, like just clicking on someone (melee), his katanas kept missing me over and over, and with no passive skill to the weapon like nix/rage, it just looked like he was slapping my forearms with the katanas lol xD and yah he had way moar bp, after awhile he finally did land a hit and i surprisingly shockingly omgoawdingly survived it ;P i thot for sure it'da 1 hit meh, but anyway thats all i was referring to xD he is tired of katanas also ;p and yeah spear is boaring too, thats what i was using after katanas got boaring but it didnt take no time for me to get bored w/+10 spear ...i had moar bp but it still just wasnt enuff xD i kept missing people fixed speedgun is good cuz it goes off a lot but when it doesnt i looked like a complete tard ;p~

wait wat o_o; i must be missing something x_x; the OP says "what is yr advice", and i gave my advice, based on my experiences using katanas since ninjas came out and switching to str build more recently ;p

they may hate ss and love tfb, but they still wanted advice o__o; i wasnt holding a knife to their face or breaking their arm to go str build lol

and did i answer ur question about stamina as ss/fb ninja vs tfb ninja? lol the way u worded that sounds like i didnt but its pretty obvious (atleast i think?) summed up basically its just that its a lot easier to regain a little stamina (enough for an SS), while a tao is chasing u rather than regaining a lot of stamina (enough for a tfb) with one chasing u o_o;

in my situation the top chars in our servers that are fires, are massively painful evil zappers as im sure almost all servers has a few atleast by now too, and fighting them is pointless especially when i see a friend ss one for over 16k and they still pot it off rednamed v_v; they're annoying tanks lol but even noob fires have joined with them and will zap the poop out of u while ur trying to fight one or two people, and in my case my ninja couldnt hardly kill the people i was fighting with cause if i could manage to land a melee strike + tfb, they survive, pot it off and keep going... if i fog them they relog instantly or run away and its kinda hard to tfb something running lol xD

TFB against a real good fire (good meaning great jumper) is almost a sure death to a tfb ninja. You really do need the range of SS/FB IMO for this duel. I am currently fixing my proff on sword and blade and may switch over periodically since I love to FB more then TFB yet katanas for gate and pole have huge damage.

I am not a club/sword-blade fan for the simple reason that I see sword(nix) with PB a much better choice against a fire for the simple reason that once you are out of stamina against a good fire you will not be getting any stamina back so thus comes the good old CHEAP PB zap xD.

TFB is a great choice if you do not fight a lot of fires on your server. If you fight a lot of fires I think SS/FB options are better weapon choices + SS/FB is funner then TFB in the overall play in the game.
