I dunno why tq can't just be honest for once, Instead of looking like incompetent fools ( well they look like that anyway but still ) And admit servers are down because they are unsecured and being ddossed down daily.

That's the real reason they are down and the reason for 5600 patch yesterday which changed the ips. ( like that would stop a doss attack? ) it only takes 2 seconds to find the new ip and hit that too lol. So servers were on and off for 2 days until they changed ips in 5600 then svrs were up maybe a few hours before he ddossed the new ips and brought em all down again.

How about tq stop being such cheap asses and put the servers behind some ddoss protected routers? It's rediculous any moron can knock down the servers and ya don't even need a botnet to do it just a really strong connection will do if ya know what your doing.

I can't believe EA would even consider teaming up with such idiots when they can't even keep their own servers up from 1 stupid egy ddossing them.

DDoS, Distributed Denial of Service. If you're doing it through one connection, then by definition, it's not a DDoS-attack. And there's no such thing as DDoS-protected routers. There's only one defense to DDoS, and that's buying more servers, so your cluster can catch the incoming requests.

There is a real good reason why TQ gets attacked after major updates to the game.

And this time, i'm afraid to say, it is not TQs fault.

The creators of these proxy bots charge a monthly fee to players who are interested in cheating. Everytime TQ threatens to stop the bots, the bot creators do a Denial of Service against all of TQ's IPs.

These "bot creators" are really criminals who need to be brought to justice.

1) Conquer Online is copyrighted and they have no right to be creating software used to modify game play.

2) Denial of Service attacks are illegal.
