quick question about halbert - Conquer Online Forum

hey guys i know this is not the right place to post this, but there's a guy selling a cheap super 2 sock halbert and i wonder if i should buy it. why people choose wand/spear (at least on my server) and not halbert? is halbert worth using for lvling? pls reply asap before someone else buys it

not sure but I think I had a halbert once and it seemd to miss the monsters a lot

If you're a warrior and you want to level fast, buy it. It's cheaper than other 2handers but almost just as good.
PvP'ing with a halbert isn't as good as a spear, but compared to the price, it's quite good, actually.

Halbert is weak, that's why no one uses it. The skill does 139% damage when maxed, 45% activation rate. The spear skill does 210% with a 47% activation rate. The wand skill does 145% with a 45% activation, which is only slightly more damage than halbert, but it hits all the way around you, whereas the halbert doesn't.

Well for starters you all suck. Its halberd, halbert is the retard way to put it so TQ thought of using it. I have had the same halberd for 2 years and it has always been good. I can kill monsters and people just fine with it. So if you wanna find some one who uses halberds alot well he came to you. Oh and the skill goes off tones so that 45% thing is just crap.

Halberd, halbert, even halbard, are all the same thing.

I use a halbert on my main. It's a fine weapon - it's not the best 2H damage but it has an excellent proc rate, and a different AoE than others.

Also, interestingly, I've never had to lvl proficiency. It does it on its own. I'm about to hit 110, and proficiency is already L13.
