Craigy, on my server if you are a +12/-7 warrior with just a sword and shield (sword for damage) you are not going to kill the top tro's, or haha fires xD.. They will laugh at you. STG fires taking what 8k from your SS. I mean how are you going to kill them when they have 21+k life. I guess it depends on the players you have on your server and the skills. No +12 warrior on our server is going to be chaining 3+ hits real fast to kill players with just a sword and they surely will not get melee nix's off all to often. Sorry if I burst your bubble. You may stay alive for a while with a few STG's in your gears yet you are not going to kill the top players with just sword damage of a 1h let alone lower damage if you have STG's in gears. They will laugh and say stop tickling me while I pot off your hits xD. I am sure on classic without potency it is different yet 2.0 GL with your pooning people with just a sword and shield xD.

Anyway, this is a nice addition by TQ if it does come for all players using 2h, not just warriors.

wars are a power house, use them correct and quit moaning, if i had a full +12 140 war with -7 gears and SDGs (maybe 2-4 STGs to piss people off more) then i would be owning the whole world, speicaly with the souls and refinaries
Aslong as they do not get an AOE, I'm not complaining.

From the beginning was said weapon skills. Nothing said warr skills. Official site does said "will make warrs more dnagerous in combat" or something, but they are teh main 2H users. In the ends everywhere just says weapon skills. So for now, it would be stupid to think it's warr only until TQ says different.

All I've seen is talking about warriors skills so thats what I based my view from. Either way, let's see what they really are... I do hope their warriors only, otherwise I'll be mad that I switched class from water to war.

Tq is never really clear about what they mean. Wouldn't suprise me if the skill was water only haha

I spoke to Vivian from Helpdesk and asked if they were gonna be class skills or weapon skills and she said its meant to be for warriors only Zzz.

Seriously hope they make it a weapon skill.

Depending on how the weapon skills work this will be a nice addition yet far from making any player using a 2h overpowered. The passive skills for wand and spear are passive and only count for a melee strike. Hopefully that stays the same and none of the pasive skills go off with the new range skills. Also at 115 percent its still lower then FB/SS so that should not be an issue unless they make the two new skills AOE skills which would be another goofy upgrade if its an entirely radius based skill.

In general damages are Level 130 weapons:

Blade = 2476-3165
Club = 2045-3937
Katana = 2250-4330
Wand and Spear = 2508-3718 (added 15% for the new skill).

1h users gain 1/2 the value of the left hand where 2h users do not so in general players that can equip 1h'r are probably better off using 2 1h'rs since the added 1/2 left hand weapon amount still exceeds the +15 percent from a 2h. Again hopefully these 2 new skills are sorta like FB/SS and not an AOE skill xD.

With this it makes warriors much more capable of being a tankish type build with a range skill like FB/SS (again hopefully its not an AOE skill) with the ability to have the new block and other options with pure warriors and shield users. It will not affect fires at all in general in that they will still do the damage they do yet should buff up the warrior to the ability of having a range attack like FB/SS without having to have an alt gear blade, etc. weapon switch all the time, etc.

In general I do not see fires as way to overpowered in the endgame yet fires benefit from gears more the other classes in the mid range BP areas which does make them a little overpowered for players around the same BP on the damage side. TQ just needs to add a new subclass that maybe reduces penetration by about 1/2 the amount a fire can stack up on. That may be all thats needed for those thinking fires are way to overpowered yet endgame +12/-7 its not the fire damage thats an issue with fires its the new added P-def buffs they get that make them immune to getting 1 & 2 hit and if they are a STG build they require 2-3 hit chain to be killed (which is almost impossible if the fire is a skilled fire using range) yet no matter how you look at the game it will be hard to = out all classes, etc. Ninjas have been nerfed entirely now except for just the pure damage they do with TFB which still is the highest yet requires you to be at close range to land etc. I think everyone needs to worry more about monks when people get godly gears then these other classes since I see the ww kick + melee (tripple hit if it goes off) being deadly especially since 200 agility = like 90 percent auto melee hit on +12 129 boots. Now archers need a little consideration and some buffs to give them some fun again in the game. xD.

normally i dont post on these subjects but it need 2 stay 4 war only cus the war haf been screwed over so much in this game it would be nice 2 see them closer 2 the top btw im a fire n i dont plan on making a war just sayin how i feel
