Balance Soul Shackle - 20 stamina = Too spammable = OP

Balanced guildwars are guildwars in which both sides of the guildwar are fighting for pole. People are constantly dying on either side, people are constantly reviving on either side.

In this case, while soul shackle in my opinion is overpowered, because both sides have an equal opportunity, it does not make guildwar a landslide.

Consider a guildwar in which an underdog is fighting a super strong enemy.

While the underdog is dying often because of the disadvantage, the enemy monks will be spamming this skill on the underdog players causing the underdog to quickly lose momentum when they already have a disadvantage and die out.

This skill by its current design will only serve to make guildwar absolutely miserable for those who have the disadvantage.

Suggestion:

-Increase stamina cost

soul shackle - This incredibly cool skill will immobilizes the soul of a dead player and prevents reviving for 60 seconds. Cost: 10 SP, 14 MP.

should be BP based like other skills

Lower BP than u = 100pct hit
Higher BP chance to miss
"good" thing about this skill is it is for pure monks only

I did see that when this skill is fixed, it lasts for 3 minutes.

maybe the underdogs should bring a monk too. so it can unshackle. you guys seem to be forgetting that soul shackle can be undone by another monk.

I saw further up the page that someone wanted it to be based on BP. Why? BP doesnt matter if you are a ghost. I think it would be AWSOME if a noobish monk could shackle a bulker. Its about time someone made those guys sweat a little XD

its war on both sides and having monks on both sides is like having waters on both sides, just now this character can do some crazy **** and actually help out a lil more,

water taos that go melee do not get same ammount of bp as all other chars, because if you have a 1 handed weapon other then bs, the potency is not doubled, making you noobish even if you were wearing a +12

monks use 2 weapons...can soul shackle and unshackle, can help with curing status effects, and are decently strong

I want to see this skill in GW first. I think its a great idea tho. Enemy side has way more +12's so if any of them die its pretty important to keep them down. If they get revived within seconds its kind of lame after we worked so hard to kill him/her with 3k's and a lucky BT hit. Ofcourse they can unshackle too so its not like people will be stuck for 3 minutes. It will just add a few more tactics.
