Are you kidding me?!

i guess it's not so bad though :/ because if you get tfed say goodbye to ALL your pots. so it'd be better to get the toxification one and spam that 7x times

i guess really it's a balancing act.

also.. for taos and archers, don't they get SCREWED, because they dont have 2 weapons so they have 1 less refinable gear.

also, anyone know the prices for buying them via arena points and stabilizing the best ones(cps)?

If I'm correct, certain items can get certain bonuses, not that you can put 1 refinery bonus to every item.
"About Refinery

Refinery grants equipment extra attributes and enviable buffs. Different types of equipment require different Refinery items. Just like your equipment, Refinery items have 5 quality levels (Normal, Refined, Unique, Elite and Super), and so there will be five levels of Refinery. A higher Refinery level guarantees a better buff. You may get such Refinery items in the Honor Store of the Arena and from several quests/events."

But don't you think this is a bit rigged and super unbalanced?

Reason:
All physical attacks can get countered... But what about magic attacks? Why do the easiest and partial strong characters get the extra bonus where no one can negate its effect. For those who made Melee chars and water taos gears. You could say good bye to you conquer career because with this new enchant no one can really take out the fires... They will be doing at least 2X the amount of damage they would usually do.

How do i know?
There was a vid posted in the conquer site. Compare the after and before. And convert that into people on your server.


THEY NEED TO COUNTER THE MAGIC... fires are already strong not because of their magic attacks, it is because of their speed attacks(tornado) that has far range.

on noobs the refinement causes double damages yes, becouse mdef% is **** on those chars...



EXAMPLE OF CRIT REFINEMENT:
def: 1k def | 90% mdef | 100 mdef
tro: 1k atk
tao: 1k matk

tro > def: 1k [atk] - 1k [def] = 0 damage
tao > def: 1k [matk] - 90% [mdef%] = 100 - 100 [mdef] = 0 damage

now, we add the crits:

tro > def 1.5k [atk] - 1k = 500 damage
tao > def 2k [matk] - 90% [mdef%] = 200 - 100 [mdef] = 100 damage

on top of that, the taoists got a refinement option to remove that 100 mdef doing 200 damage >_>
yet the tro dous 500 dmg with only a 50% bonus >_<


[this is a VERY simplified example, as the RB bonusses -dmg and BP make it even less 0_0]

That is so wrong. mdef doesn't work like that.

it is how mdef works, otherwise other classes would be able to hit with zap, without needing talismans....

The only thing I don't see here is the penetration option. Penetration has no mentioned block and it lowers the actual mdef. That means taos will do a lot of damage if mixed in with a magic crit bonus as well.
