how about Death Note meets Welcome to NHK
The life of a Hikkikomori(? spelled it wrong)

It could be a more twisted, less comical version of Welcome to NHK
Something that explores the unspoken things humans do when no one is around.

1 base Charactor. We could have any number of people writing for him/ her seeing as how isolated people are a bit insane anyways.

He/She could suffer from any mental disorder. The story line could be him/her trying to come to grips with whats real or not while trying to break free from isolation.

Bloody gory gothic thoughts twisted into a Welcome To NHK feel

Sound good?

Dunno how that relates in similarity to Death Note, but sounds more like Chäos;HEAd + NHK to me ;P
