I'm a archer, 325 +bp, with +12 ears. and our top fire top Fire Tao is Full +12 -horse(+8 I think).

This Tao tears me up in arena with nado. Hits me for 1k while I hit him for 200ish.

I was wondering if anyone knew if I +12 a bag, and left it level 67 would it help any to defend against him? ( I need to leave it lvl 70 or below so I can wear it)

a lvl 67 bag +12 = 1115hp, and 306 Magic Def.

So does this mean he would hit me for 306 less or is this a different calculation?
Any help with this would be good, so I can fugure out what gear to use to just fight fires in the arena.

+ m-def on items works after m-def% is taken into account.

Finally after all of that there is talismen difference.

-What is your talis vs his?
-Are you full -7?

on my old archer,my enemy fire was dealing me 1k,while i was hitting him only 250 ,we both had similar bp including talis.after i used 6 or 8 super tortoise gems intead of super dragons in my stuff,he hits me 230(was 1000) and i hit him 210(was 250).
use tortoise gems and you will be untouchable,even your enemy trojans wont beat you that easy.

I run STG in my boots and Necky. for 4 STG and full -7. BUt i know he hits me now for 1k

So i was wondering if having a +12 bag would help against this for -300 hit or does that magic defense equate to him doing 998 damage to me?

Im thinking as a full +12 archer, half or full stg wouldnt be a bad idea for pvp. Boots make a diff in how much you will hit an enemy, but if he have level 129 +12 boots all of the damage you put out is only from the fan.

You can test this by getting a friend with +12 129 boots and you both removing fan/tower. I think the damage you deal will be below 50, so them extra sdg would prove to be useless imo.

The only downside I see is less damage towards GW gate/pole and monsters, but the positive you will be harder to kill and taos will hit you about 200-300 and half of that is fan damage.

This is only a theory tho and yes the +12 bag should help you.

get maxed out on blessing and stg's (which is like 7 I think), and the fire hits you for 200's while you hit him for 220's. Regardless, archers are still sucky pkers

put the lvl 67 bag on and met it in market to 116 and dont take it off

Farm for better talisman. A better tower and or gems will give you better defense vs his nado. Or you can go the other way and geta better fan and or gems to give yourself more attack.
