Question umm CO includes keylogger ?

Wanting to play co after a while, just reinstalled a fresh copy, let i auto-update, then, when started, Kaspersky said it has suspicious behaviour (keylogger - redirect input).

In advance:
- not using bots
- comp is clean

Must be something related to co.. i wonder why.

Also, the program tryied to connect to samples.americanas.com which seems to be an adware site. What about this ?

official site, of course.. which sent me to gammersplanet or something.. i suppose anyone getting a fresh copy and agv or kaspersky would get the same warning.

some of the experts on this forum are supposed to answer why.

You obviously know nothing,

As for the issue at hand.... It wouldn't surprise me... Clean the file. If not tell me which file it is that contains the keylogger

File and comp are clean, I already said that.

The message from kaspersky is not about a file but about the program as a whole. It sais: suspicious behaviour - keyloger - redirect input.

Kapersky can normally direct from where it came.. Cant be using Java, so there must be a specific file its coming from

It doesnt say.. and i dont think is significant also.. is a fresh clean copy of co. Files scanned individually are clean, also by viruscan.jotti.. is the program behaviour that is reported as suspicious.

My guess is, this is a virus from somewere else. That has made it onto your computer. And is using CO as its tracker....

Conquer files are clean. Of course, they can get infected as any other programm, if you have a virus on your computer. And also, some antivirus programms give false positives sometimes, for some weird reason.

(kind of the same as Norton does, it 'identifies' other antivirus programms as viruses to get read of 'competition' lol).
There's no keylogger in the original co files.

No idea... I think it's something in the antivir programm, not in the files, which leads to this.
If you find out, let me know, I wanna know too lol

You are not being ignored, but we're discussing something else. He claims his computer is clean, and I know there have been several other cases of false positives offered by other antivirus programms, we were wondering why this happens.
