I guess we can scratch Heyga off of the list of creative people.

But since this is a creativity thread, here goes:

1. They have different tails sides.

Technically #2 is just one line in a non-Euclidean plane and #1 is just a red herring.

And yeah, I never claimed to be into painting and all that creativity stuff.

You actually can draw four straight lines that intersect all nine dots without taking your pencil off of the paper. I did it.

isn't the answer for the line drawing one to just draw between the dots. It says:

Draw four straight lines which go through the middle of all of the dots without taking the pencil off the paper.

Never once has it stated that it actually has to touch the dots nor that it is referring to the middle dot.

Further wise, one would assume the "middle of all the dots" is the middle between each 2 dots. In other words, your answer should look like a square between them. That or an hourglass lying down.

SOLUTIONS



The solution to the quarters puzzle is the missing dot on the "i" in "difference". "Spot the difference between the quarters", or "Mark the dot in the word 'difference' between the quarters". Facepalm yourself if you didn't get this one.

The solution to the 9 dots puzzle is below. Most people never "think outside the box" as it were, so they aren't able to find the answer.

I can't really spot the difference on the quarters, I think the one on the right has a slightly off-shaped head in comparison to the one on the left but it might just be some visual bug.

That second puzzle took me less than 1 minute to figure out at a friend's house a few years back.

Yes, it's a visual illusion if the distance from the leading eye to the two quarters is not even. The one that is further away may look bigger.

Actually this thread is more than meets the eye initially, and I love the responses so far.
