Well Me and a friend got 2nd place in team pk on royalty_eu of 130 group and we can't claim the reward.

HelpDesk is offline at the moment.

So do we get the reward trough another way or what?

record the entire thing of you trying to claim the items just to be sure, be sure you were team leader lol.

Since the team that was actually fighting for either 1st or 2nd place disconnected, wouldn't that mean the system just put a random team there as a sort of place holder?

Like, our team fought for and won 3rd place and even though the 2nd place team dc'ed we don't move into that slot because we didn't make it to that face off - so no one gets the 2nd place rewards at all.

Disconnecting in that case counts as a lose.

I guess so, but the point is that all the rest of the matches were already decided, 3rd -8th place, so if one of the two teams trying for 1st and 2nd dc's and is disqualified, it would make sense no one gets the rewards for 2nd place. Just some fluke Miio's team ended being "named" 2nd place, seeing as they didn't fight any matches to get in top 8.

Messed up in similar way for others also, but they just have NO teams getting any rewards:

The team I was in was supposed to fight Kitschi#5's team when we entered top 8. But when the fight was supposed to start nothing happened, we didn't get the fight. We didn't disconnect either.

According to our records, your character Miio quitted the team at 20:14 pm server time, and the new leader of the team became NYXONYA. He/She claimed the reward for being rank 2 right after the PK tournament was over. Thus, there isn't any bug.
