I suppose in order to know the history of whanau,
you'd hafto start at the beginning

Devils~May~Cry was a guild on HG started by BloodyMary.
A group of us had been in deathstorm, and when mary
left we all left with her. We were in their lvl 70-
noob branch called Blood. But there was a certain
group of us that were much closer than just people
we knew ingame.
Even back then everyone knew Kassy(ici) as mum.
Everyone encouraged her to start her own guild, cause
she was more caring about the guild than the gl was.
(no offence to mary,she was busy in rl) Whell, things
went south with DMC and mum made Whanau.

whanau means family. more thn blood family.
its the extended family. all those ppl u care about
tht arent blood related.
that is wat i hope for this guild

Kassy was the nurturing one. Always looking out for all.
Everyone knew her and loved her. Only woman iv ever met
that could convince THE BUTCHER and Lord Chuck not to
attack her guild.(before the cap on pkp was added)
dang, who never spokein DMC, was always encouraging us
to be as strong as we could be. Than there was the boys.
Neo, hell, blade,dk, bldy,and rich. Always the closest
of brothers. Wed kill for each other. Wed die for each
other. All anyone had to say was help and their enemies
would be so surrounded with whanau that theyd run away
crying KOS.
Neo, one of the best archers in the server, hell, when
he was an annoying little water tao with a short temper,
Rich, ready to kik anyones a$$ for any reason, goddess
and bldy, the REAL married couple(not many rl couples
then). we were always cutting up and making each other
laugh till we wet ourselves. Keep in mind, during this
time we were all low lvl enough to b plvld, except
kassy, dang, rich, and neo. they were all the way in
their 100+ lvl. huge compared to the rest of us lol.

Time passes, lvls gained. Kassy
abandons her warrior
for her water icicles(previously in deathstorm). The
guild grows to be the 2nd largest guild on scorpio.
All the while, maintaining one belief shared by all.
Whanau means family. We werent there because it was the
strongest guild, we werent there because of guild war.
We were there because we were
home. We all loved each
other and always had each others backs. Be it in combat,
advice about rl problems, or just to loan a couple mil
to your brother so he can get that new ring he needed.

Time passes, good people leave due to real life or
frustration with the
newest patches, but the family
stays loyal. And then the war started.....
For multiple different reasons, we became enemies
with what seemed to be half of the server. No one could
even set foot out of tc without getting pkd. Noobs,
high lvl, no one was safe. Many said we should just
disband and start over. But we
didnt. Whanau, usually
a non pking peaceful guild, fought back. HARD.
Anyone with red overhead was killed and hunted until
they logged off. Eventually, both sides were worn out
from battle and a truce was made, NOT… jl, still enemied
til we disbanded. Same with beyonce guild. We fought
til th bitter end and ppl on both sides left guilds…
but those tht left whanau weren’t really part of the
family. They didn’t understand its meaning.

Time passes.......

I have a hard time trying to explain why we disbanded.
We never wanted to leave the family, just CO. Patch
after patch, the game was no longer what it was back
when. Some of us had reached the end of all we cud do.
Some of us had had enough. co had lost its spark and
was no longer fun.The family was still loyal, just more
and more absent. And then perfect world was discoverd.
one by one,the family moved on. Ici and gnad, having
completed all there was to do on CO, found new challenge
in a new game. Many people were furious that they were
no longer on, as well as many others that moved on as
well.
Without ici there to lead, she felt that the guild had
changed. It was no longer the family it had been. It had
grown, and with it growing so many ppl didn’t really
understand the true meaning of whanau. and so it was
with a broken and heavy heart that she decided that in
order to be true to the meaning of whanau it was better
to disband. This would give those that were really
true to the meaning of Whanau a chance to move on and
show they remain family. It would allow those that
didn’t no what whanau was to leave without losing face
and being disgraced by being kicked out of whanau

Long story short, whanau disbanded.

But the family was still there…
After several weeks of not logging on to any games,
I returned to find my brothers scattered to the winds.
To log into CO and not have the family there for the
first time in 2
years,,whell, it hurt.
But i knew that we would all come together again if
given the chance. I brought the idea up to doeboy and
arkoid. Without hesitation, they both agreed.
Whanau can never die. It was something many had
said, even when ici was disbanding.

I called the new whanau Blood~Pact for 2 reasons.
In memory of where we came from, Blood, the noob branch
of DMC. The second is this. A blood pact is a bond
between brothers and sisters. an oath to always be
there for each other, no matter what.
Immediately after creating blood pact, i made a noob
named whanau and passed the gl to her. All of the DLs
were chosen because they know the true meaning of
family. All of the DLs to blood pact have full access
to the GL account because they all know what whanau
stands for. Blood Pact is not my guild. its whanaus
guild. Whanau belongs to all of us.It always has..
even when ici was the leader, she never made any choices
without lots of discussion because it was the guilds
choice not hers. Which is why when she disbanded
it was a hard choice for her because she knew that
those loyal would not b happy. She knew that it would
break the hearts of those she cared about.

Time passes, and the family lives on.


Wev always been a private group, only letting in family.
I hope that all that read this have a better
understanding of who we are and what we stand for.
And for all of the whanau that have yet to return,
you have always been family, you will always be family,
and you are always welcome.once a true whanau member,
always a whanau member, regards of where in the world
u are, regardless of where in co or any other game.
U r always family no matter what u do r where u r

i met ici through santa during his runs to whanau for gw, though i had obligations as a dep manager in the avatars branch of mb i would always try to steal myself away and go to rev whanau....couple times i went while in mb and reved anyway XD i am proud to call whanau family and would gladly put my life on the line to protect it in any form i moved 2 chars to whanau a while back ^^Mano_Iru^^ and ^^Sakua_Jeta^^ i wasnt on them much cause i was working on my main and my guild but i was there XD ici i know u poke in here and u will be greatly missed, and i also repledge my assistance to the new whanau, Blood~Pact, u have only but to call and i will come if u need me do not hesitate to ask
