they are really not usable in pvp like they where in old days, back then it where a cheap and fast way to make a fragile char that could(sometimes) one hit even the stronger chars, in example jump in zap stun target then trigger speedgun in his face with stig on *WOOOF* hehe
now the only good thing i think water is good for is reving in gw and also you can lvl them extremely fast |

they still pretty decent if you know how to play one. melee waters are good to rev and retaliate if you have people attacking you. downfall is you have to get in close to kill/hit em. i for one can poke and jump away including with ninjas so is fun

Im assuming the new buffed Water shield will be proven victorious for GW's.. i can see it now... all the maxed out trojans will be doing 1's to eachother xD

Melee waters are forced characters anyway, they were never intended to be played the way we all play 'em. With these new leveling possibilities - power arena/mentorship/arena/db leveling/freekin' enlightenment.... it makes things a little different from when we actually had to level our characters. Cy has a level 87 water right now that is less than a week old, has never been plvled, and has never killed anything higher than chickens in tc. My advice to threadstarter: If you don't have a 130+ archer that can 1-2 hit basilisks, don't bother. If you do, enjoy your water - I have a pure water and a tro-war-water, I loved playing on them both. |

Nah I wouldn't go pure melee water, go with war-war-wat if you don't have an archer, wat-war-wat if you do, and get a psn blade and FB (zap for those annoying little waters :P). That's what I'd do anyway, but it helps to be decent at FB.
