i have 3 main characters, 2 of which are 140. but i wanted to try a pure warrior so today i reinstalled the game.. i make a new char and almost each time i talk to a NPC when finishing a quest, the game will crash. at first it lasts like 30 seconds until the screen isn't frozen anymore. then i play a bit and the next time it crash, it lasts forever! it does this every time.. i also had big problems trying to uninstall and reinstall the game. whenever i tried to uninstall after i allowed the game to autopatch or if i patch it manually, i got this error "Internal Error: Cannot find utCompiledCode record for this version of the uninstaller". i tried EVERYTHING! i reinstalled in a different folder like c:\co\ or c:\co3\, i gave admin rights to all executables, as i said before i also used both auto and manual patch. nothing works.. and not to mention that i have to wait over half an hour each time i tried to reinstall!

yeah, same thing happened to me. I tried to make a new account and I couldnt even get past the warehouse guy quest without the game crashing. Somehow it only happens on newly created accounts.

Its either they're doing it purposely to some IP addresses to avoid multiple account creations or they dont know about this problem yet.

so what i do now..

i sent ticket but no reply. also i have 3 mains and 2 other account for storage and market. added with new account, i have 6 total. i been playing war thunder while i wait for something to happen..

edit: i'm not really sure if they're doing something on purpose because once i patch the game, i can't uninstall it anymore even if i don't log any characters.. if game gets patch i have to reinstall and only then i can uninstall. btw game is uninstalled atm for me

i just tried my new character from the old PC i have with windows xp, it does exactly the same problem. i think someone repeatedly bashed the TQ programmers in the head with a crowbar. it must've been Gordon Freeman..

i solved the problem. so after i create a character, when i do quests the game will be frozen. if i close the game while it's frozen, then i can't uninstall anymore and i have to first reinstall and only then i can uninstall.. the solution is to simply wait until game isn't frozen anymore. and the next quests will play normal without game freeze
