I changed the ones on the ends to softglow and left the 3 middle ones on overlay. Then did the blur...

much nicer, but i still say the red one on the right doesnt need any on the face.. maybe the hair and clothes tho. it makes it too bright o:

compared to the one on the left who desperately needs it cause she looks dead.. o.o

I know! She needs something but if I do Overlay it kinda gives her face an overexposed look

she jus needs color lol. this is why a wise person invented make-up. sadly that doesnt apply to avatars :|

try adding an extra layer, setting it to color, or color dodge, and passing a brush with some yellowish color over her face. a faded edge one, like the 1st few..

heres what i mean o:



i made new layers mixed with red/yellow to make a nicer skin-tone then merged them all together. i left the girl on the right's face how it is and just did soft light on all others.. i still could have faded the one on the left's left side a bit more..

It's not usually that bad. The ones that seem to look worse are the celebrities. They get all this 'pro' makeup done that when you see them without it, it's like another person.
