I disconnect a lot when there is lots of people around mostly because of FPS dropping so low. iPad 2 not as many DCs so if you are useing iPad 1 I feel your pain. As far as ping goes I always have consistently high ping around 400 is normal for me. To fix this problem I would need to upgrade my net package to business class and buy a iPad hd. Not worth the effort on my end but those 2 things could help if you want to invest the cash.
