can you have 2 computers each running 1-3 clients or can that get your accounts banned?

Im always confused by the IP, is there only 1 IP per household or does each computer have their own IP

I don't think you would get banned for this, considering that i-cafes work the same way and nothing happens to them.

Think of it this way

Your modem has its own ip, your router uses that ip and issues out its own "internal" ips to each machine, when your using two computers your computers send out your modems ip with its sub ip (internal routered ip) .

Thats kind of how it works hard to explain cus I havnt done any networking in a hwile

TQ doesn't botjail or ban anyone solely because they have more than 3 accounts online under one IP. There is always something else added to it.

For example if you and your younger brother both play CO and have 3 chars on on 2 different computers, TQ will never bother you. If your brother starts to bot, then you risk all your accounts being punished especially if it is more than just a couple characters botting.

This is not how it works. Your computer requests a connection to IP X by talking to the router, the router sends then all packets(with destination X ) from this computer to IP X but replaces the source IP of the packet with the IP of the router, so that the servers in the internet can talk to the router. Therefore only the router knows the real source and is nothing but an intermediator.

As far as the TQ servers are concerned (or any other external device for that matter) there are 6 clients connected from one address, unless TQ implements a way of detecting different physical devices and how many clients are on each of those (They can do this, but they havent) it will remain this way.

I know plenty who do. You know net cafes generally have the same IP outgoing so all those Egyptian net cafes have 10+ chars on at once under same IP.

On several computers, no.

If you had your own internet cafe and had like 20 computers with 3 chars each mining 24/7, you'd probably be punished. But having say a desktop computer and a laptop both playing CO probably wouldn't hurt you.
