Well, 5k defense + rebirth bonus is about 19-20k with XP shield, so wouldn't it be 25k+ with Iron Shirt?

4x defense is nice but...not if you have to stand still.

Well, then a GM can fix it. How hard could be just to make XP shield do 4x def instead of 3 and last 5 minutes instead of 2 just by standing still?

Another thing I suppose we have to wait for 2.0,...

Yup, that's a lot...for 10 seconds.

Apparently, you *can* move with it on, which is a plus but if it only lasts ten seconds there's really not much you can do with it.

That's right, ten seconds, then it fades, even if you don't move.

Yet *another* reason Warrior sucks...

It is a little odd that the shield can't block scatter fire but an archer needs *some* way to damage a warrior.
