Well, as luck would have it, she found a deal on a new monitor. One of those new widescreen jobbies and when she plugged it in, it failed to work correctly.
Seems her video card can not manage a screen resolution of 1400 or greater.
Sooooo, the good son I am I offered to put my vid card in her machine for her as it handles a screen res of 1700 and above.
I figure, she gave birth to me, it's the least I can do eh? Ha Ha.
