I took out my old NES and decided to play some games for the memories.
I really forgot how fun these games used to be:

shame games aren't like these anymore.

It has been a while since I have played Contra, but I remember it is ****ing hard. I was just playing super mario bros last week, that game will always be fun.

Yeah, Contra is somewhat hard, specially the 3rd level, idk, I remember it was like a waterfall or something.
Yes, I always play it and I tend to use the warps from 1-2 and 4-2 to reach the 8th world fast, but sometimes I just run through the 32 levels.

Dig Dug was awesome. It had only like 4 Colors tho when i played it on PC.
It was one of my favorite games beside alley cat

I remember Contra and Super Mario Bros from the NES as well as Mappy from the Game Gear and Elevator Action from the Game Boy.

What fun games!

I remember the game gear, that was my first hand held game system. I had a baseball game, golf, a game that was like pole position, sonic, and lion king.

mine was a SNES, back then the N64 and PS1 were the top consoles.

I still had fun with Super Mario World and Mario RPG, as well with Kirby Superstar and Rockman (Megaman) X

also the first Legend of Zelda. pure epicness.

Yess they were great. I still have my NES.. If it works, I'm not sure. I think someone tossed the games though. I also was notified that all my super nintendo games were lost in a flood to the person we lent them too. All my Donkey Kong Country's and a Mario RPG, and . and.... baww. It's depressing.

I was actually impressed with he new Mario game and the new Donkey Kong though. Lately the games have been rather..not really challenging at all. :c

The old games were great though. I remember playing Gradius and this other space shooter. I also had the ColecoVision. We had Pacman, Ladybug, Smurf, Donkey Kong, and Donkey Kong Jr. Uhhhhh I can't remember the others.

Master Blaster and Boy and His Blob

Really? Boy and his Blob? Man, **** that. That game pissed me off so much. lol.

Gyromite was where it was at. Castlevania, 8 Eyes, Galaga, Q-bert, Milon's Secret Castle and countless hours on Spy Hunter.. Of course there are many others.

Oh yeah, Rygar as well. lulz.

It was one of the only games I never beat, back in the day. The first time I learned about how just one wasted jellybean can cause you to lose everything.
A hard life lesson, indeed.

I have master blaster too. I haven't played it much though.

Was it the jellybean that opens up a hole in the ground?
