was a scary couple of days =x
now we're dealing with the recovery, she had some major surgary. i have to take her back next week to get the drain tube taken out.
she had a large tumor on her right shoulder, and they had to put a drain in it for the old blood to drain out. quite messy, we have to keep cleaning it, and replacing the gauz *spelling*
then she had to get her uterus taken out. it was majoryly inflaimed, like a little bit smaller than a volleyball. her body was telling her that she was pregnant, and was prepairing for it. then sometime tuesday night, she was going through labor. but, she was NEVER pregnant. we woke up wednesday morning to see blood everywhere, litterally. the vet said, that basically, she was giving birth to infectious fluids.
she was able to come home FINALLY yesterday afternoon. i skooted over to get her from the office. so saden to see her like this, my heart poured out. but she's recovering. and it's such a relief to get that tumor off (out) of her as well. |
