Wouldn't it be better and more of an achievement to get "PEP" for making useful posts, and adding to the community in a positive way, rather than just getting everyone to "PEP" you for, well, spamming?

In my mind, spamming is a "NEP" offense, not a "PEP" one!

Isn't the whole point of a reputation system to show people with a good reputation?

I got way more rep in this thread than in my Server Wars Pool In Mod recommanded suggestion's thingie. So why bother :cool:

Edit : Actualy i got only 1 rep there. And the pool has around 1k votes. lol

Ofcourse you'll get more reputation points in a thread that's made for spamming them.

It's just more of an achievement to get them for doing something worthy of them, is all.

Lol that thread was worthy of rep. 560 votes agreed with me that there should be a Server Wars. 22 rejected. Did i get any rep for it ? No. So if ppl don't rep for " achievments" , where am i supposed to get rep from? >.>..

If everyone has it, why do you even want it?

Reputation is there to show a helpful user. If everyone just spams it, it's pointless and no one needs it.

damn but this is a community thead. for spamming :O like all of them here in co forums anyways :rolleyes: can't be really helpfull in here, most of the things have been said, all you have to do is search...

Always a newbie asking a question, though. Seeing as the basic search function is disabled, not everyone knows HOW to search for answers. That, and many people don't bother searching in the first place. Help those that ask, and I'm sure you'll get rep for it eventually.

I tend to rep people I see helping, whether it's me they've helped, or someone else.

If u dont like da thread dan quit postin in...quit readin...its that simple :cool:

Atleast it gives this thread some substance.

Atleast each post I post has a point, and is a valid, worth-while read.

Not a spam-fest conversation that could just as easily be done on MSN.
