War Farming vs Water Farming
 

Which one is better? Also, should I bother bless farming? I have full 1 soc srgs, only annoying thing with warrior farming is I can't use my talismans before 100 and I don't want to upgrade my srgs to high level to then have to reborn them.

I have full 1 soc drag and full dual spgs (full blessed already), but as for my drags, only my ring, neck + boots are blessed. Actually, neither are my trojan's weapons, (120 and 130 weapons and I don't particularly wanna reborn a 130 club and then find 10 DBs). Also should I use a +9 longhammer? I know wand is the leveling weapon but the Longhammer is +9 so I can 1 hit SM mobs with the srgs.

Also (I'd be doing this later on) do you think it's worth reborning my archer just to bless my bow or coat? My friend has a 2nd rb archer I can use.

War is costly but fast.
Water is cheap but probably a bit slower, and you need epic archer gears.

Which hardly makes sense because if you have epic archer gears than why even give a crap about dbs.

u have just the opposite Devenhoe, archers are the one that cost more and takes longer to get started... how long u think it takes to make a 130 archer from scratch? XD...

i started w/.. full elites+2 elite 2rdg wand, rdg armor, total of about 3 DBs worth of equip.. took a while to lvl, but after a few warrs... i'm not wat...

thats.. 60% dragons (imo thats the magic number not 45% which most people suggest)... and 25% rains which is really nice, just need a soc neck/ring and my warr gear is completely done and i can start spending the DBs on my main char's gear :)

• 1-80||90 = 1-2 hour (plvl/self-lvling)
• 80||90-110 = 1.5 hours (slingers)
• 110-116 = 2 hours (BullMonsters/AS) [somewhere in between vamp bats actually gives more exp, forgot what lvls
• 116-120 = 1.5 hours

so total = ~6 hours (about 5 exp pots [i don't buy pots i get dbl exp from free heaven's blessing on the like 20 accounts i've made from events :)])

so total time = 6 hours
total profit = ~2 DBs minus (100 to 200) mets


i know archers w/ 8+ SDGs, super bow/ring that takes a little over 10 hours to make a water . . .

With that gears it'll cost you the 2 dbs or w.e to upgrade it.

War farming is actually cheaper if you have 2 sets of gear. Since defence only matters up until level 100, you really only need to have defence gears of level 67-82. What you can do is have two or three weapons and rings and have them at different levels so that you don't even need to use mets to upgrade gear since you will be 1 hitting the mobs. That being said, you need your weapons to be powerful enough to do that, or have full 7 (9 with shield) sockets.

I'm trying to convince my friend to do that...he's procrastinating.

If I were to farm, I'd warrior farm. It MIGHT take a little longer, but it gives the mentor ~20 exp balls, which is always nice :)

waterfarming.

Just made water from 93 to 98 in 15 mins, from 98 to 110 in 32 mins and from 110 PKed it to 120 in 9 mins.


So yes, water farming kicks ass.

Should I just forget about the blessing then? :/ Infact is there any point in it without DB buying? I mean it'll take a bit to get it all -5%. My tao is a mixture of -3 and -5 but that's because a friend who bought DBs helped and he quit lol :p

my char is now full -1 xD just blessed my cap with the water i talked about in my previous post xD

Ew, I hate making 120 waters :(, although TQ made it easy for botters. Just SV with talismans when you're feeling lazy.

I think that water farm is better because if you are war farming you would need mets to level your gears and you need to fix your weapon profincy. So yeah I think waterfarm is better.

warrior farming gear is cheaper than water farming gear
warrior farming is harder work then water farming
if you get really good gears both methods can be done in about the same time
warrios farming gives the 20 exp balls to the mentor and water farming does not

think that should be enough info for you to make up your own mind, if u like to scatter then go for water farming, if u like melee leveling then warrior farming

I water farm. and by the term farming, I use my archer, and 4 waters following me. (i am not sure if you mean the same with warriors). I tried farming warriors when i needed to bless some gear but i found it very slow doing this way. Waters on the other hand get extra exp for thier lvl 40 promotion so they already have an advantage. and then i use dual soc rainies set, a single soc rainy set, another char, and a noob. for noob exp. Doing this it takes about 6hours to get a farm done, (about 3 waters to lvl 110). however if your going to lvl till 120 to bless gear, then its about 1hour each lvl with full dual soc, ect.

So from this past year of farming, its my experience to farm waters.

for water farm you need a strong archer and lots of rainbow gems - costly to start but you can make multiple chars at the same time
for warr farm you need a couple of dragons to 1-hit mobs with sm and mets to up your gear - cheaper to start, less boring but only 1 char at a time

You mean three or four chars at a time? Doing one warr at a time is expensive.

Heh. I can do with only 1 sock srg set a water from lvl 70 to 110 with 3 exp pots. The thing is i always have lvl 70-90 waters ready to marrie since i multiple chars in the team.

Also it is true it's hard to get a decent archer and get some SRG set. But after that if you have enough free time the money is just rolling it. Also there are a lot of occasions when i plvl like 1-2 hours tops a day and then the next archer willing to use the spawn let me in team:)

I did warrior farming too. Didn't really like the heavy gringind but that can work too if you have a good mixture of srg's and sdg's in equip.

Warrior farming can be less expensive with gears, but mets are gona kill ya. Water farming takes alot of free time to do it in. warrior farming>water farming.

200 mets = 10 mil minus the gems converted to mets u get from lvling (about 10 gems lets say 10 gold 10 silver) thats about 70 mets, u'll find about 20 mets, that's 90 mets, so u pay only 6 mil for mets to lvl u'r gear (u only lvl armor up to lvl 70, @ 100 u do fan/tower quest unless u have a tradeable one)... DB + SDG (which = DB) is 40 mil... profit = 34 mil... u'r only losing about 6 mil to lvling gear... and gaining 22 exp balls which = 594 cp...

warr farming is WAY > water in every way... not to mention u can bless ALL gear w/ warrior farming


oh, i forgot to mention that i always find a DB in 1 out of every 2 warriors i farm... i think it has to do something with that u'r always killing black/red/white mobs, NEVER green... unlike when u water farm

98-110 32 mins ? You are kidding me right ? Full srg gear + exp pot + heaven blessing = 2 hours. Also I 2 hit basilisks.
Impossible, with full 2 soc srg gears I only get 1 percent each kill lol.
Water leveling is way faster and cheaper. It tooks only 3 mil with moonbox + celestial stone and your expenses are lowered by the glory/thunder gems you find and mets. You can make a water in one day without exp pot but with a newbie pack in 3-7 hours you are done if you got full 1 soc srg gears. If you don't got archer gears you can play at hawkings and spend more on srgs and exp pots. In 5 hours you can level a water from scratch to 110 only at hawkings.

Full 2 SRG gear, 500% xmas exp pot, heavens blessing, 4 hitting basis = 32 mins.

888k exp per kill at basis.

Personally i warrior farm because i really don't have anything else to do and getting good gear with an archer to water farm is expensive. Go buy an ultimate game card and you got good warrior farming gear. And I just think it's fun to level a warrior cuz it goes so fast.

Before posting your response I think some of you should have looked at the gear he was using.

In HIS case it would most definately be better to war farm. Whereas someone bulking like arrowguy can afford to spam farm waters.

it only costs about 6mil to lvl up gear for 1 warrior... so even doing 1 warr at a time u still make about 34mil profit from one warrior

ya, u'd think 100-200 mets is expensive... but not ne more... and the recent decline of met prices has been pretty awesome for warr farmers :)

met zone? i get like 40 mets every 7 mins.

i have 2 chars w/ their inventory and market full of gems... so umm... i don't worry about mets lol... lets see... i know most of them are gold needles, but lets just say half are gold half are silverr... that's 80 gold, 80 silver... so that means at the bare minimum 480 mets... most likely around 800 mets worth of gems though :)... that doesn't include the ~20 i find farming 1 warr to 120 :)

i had 2 chars full of gems. But I had to upgrade some gear. Spent 190 mets in my cap alone, to get it from lvl 15 to 112 x_x' Now its gonna take another 100 mets in TC to get it lvl 120 =(
