I rarely consider music to suck unless it is very poorly written / autotuned.
I don't like most rap songs, i don't like slow songs and i prefer fast songs but not those with screaming/growling. It's all about the feelings they induce in me.
Fast paced keeps me awake / active if i do something that may be boring. (Rise Against's songs, Linkin Park, Jon Bon Jovi etc)
Slow-paced/romantic - bores me. ( Heartbreaker might be included here for me, it doesn't attract my attention at all, nor do i like the voice and instrumental).
Screaming furiously - induces anger in me, so i stay away from it (see Hatebreed - Destroy everything)
Sad music - i listen to it when i'm sad, putting happy or fast-paced music will not fit with my mood then and i'd rather not have any music at all. (The All American Rejects, sometimes Evanescence, Nightwish, 3 Doors Down, etc)
Rap or hip hop - when i'm pissed a bit about something that doesn't go right. (Include BoB's Airplanes here, me likes) |
