Well.. it all boiled down to the fact that I was sick of defending and "assisting" a game that I had NO faith in whatsoever. I would bite my lip and assist someone who was having problems with TQ and/or the Game .... yet I didn't play and I didn't agree with the way that TQ doesn't care about the players at all. If they did - then they'd stand behind their End User agreement and take steps to protect the players.
BUT - you get what you pay for right??? WRONG... I was probably one of the top DB buyers on the server I played on... yet I did not get "better" service when trying to resolve issues.
EDIT: BELIEVE ME... I'm not proud to be one of the db buyers :(
The Agreement states that you can't do "A" "B" and "C".. but there's nothing that the company does to catch or 'punish' those who do. So - why not bot? Why not sell accounts (just dont mention it on forums)? Why not bring race/gender/sexual orientation/religion and everything else up in arguments? Who is going to police kids who are under 13 so that they don't sign up without parental consent?
It's like telling a lawyer to practice law... but don't back up the laws you practice by. (I work at a law firm by the way). |
