shift from hell nearly killed me... have another one tomorrow :S
The electrical was ****ed up seriously and it was just me and the butcher there... so I was using improvised power for HOURS...
Basically the one cash, the movie rental system and the power that goes to the scratch lotto ticket scanner and the one for the weight system for produce all went out... we were like wtf?!
He reset the breaker but it kept ****ing up still... so I was like ok I try to reroute ****!
so I like dismantled their network of cables and switched everything I could over to the working system (the produce weigher and the movie system cause I was trying to program in new movies)
Anyways electrician came and switched the thing but it was too low amp so we were still kinda crossing fingers it would work...
Main problem though is that when the power is down on the OTHER cash, it's the main computer that holds the database... so I couldn't use the WORKING cash when it was down for some reason (although it worked for like 40 min after that one went down the first time, no idea why)
Turns out some dip**** had put a screw in the power box at the cash to hold plastic bags off of.... yahhhh... it was shorting out the entire circuit... My boss didn't even thank me for keeping the ****ing store running for about 2 hours like that, *****s.
