hmmm... yes and no. a choice yes, but simply putting it that depening on who you chose your life will go a certain way and that someone will be there to hold the baby, no, doesn't always work that way, a lot of times it doesn't even depend on people actions if it does or does not either.
and sure we choose how to react to certain situations, but believing everything happens for a reason, can make it A LOT harder to react accordingly in certain situations, because sometimes not only bad or only good happens, sometimes they both happen at the same time and all over sudden you sit there and say WOAH what's that supposed to tell ya, for what reason did that happen now... and which way to go now? did the good happen to save the bad? to give strength to get through the bad, or did the good happen as a reward for letting go of the bad?

Well...I know when i chose someone, I'll have enough faith in them that they will be there to help and that things do have more than just a decent shot at turning out well. And of course it takes two, you get out what you put in right. But hey, another way to look at it is **** happens, deal with it :p
