I've actually seen stories about that on like TLC and stuff. There were women on there who watched their husbands get surgically altered to be women..but yet they still loved them very much. A few even stayed together. Unforunately I can't make a decision on what I'd do unless I was put into that position. However, in the conversation I was actually discussing weight issues ;). <3333333

I watched something not too long ago on the military channel where a guy got burned severely in Iraq... he was disfigured. His wife left him because she couldn't handle how he looked. He was devastated. I cried and cried for that guy... :(

I never said anything about not loving them because of their physical appearance though. :P I said if they started to be unhealthy which is separate from physical appearance of being fat or skinny.

Well she wouldn't give an interview for the show... I wish she had - so that we could have heard her reaction too. If I was in a car accident, and got disfigured, or whatever kind of accident that resulted in disfigurement - I would be hurt if the man I was with left me. It's not like I had any control over the situation (kinda like Katt said.. it was out of his control). :(

Yeah...well on a serious note, most things you should be able to deal with, but a sex change is really big...like I like girls and all, I won't lie, but I couldn't actually be in a relationship with one

speaking on that, I watched a show the other night (it was a part 1 -4 series) but i just watched part 4 and there was some guy BUT because i didnt watch the other 3 parts I thought that he was changing to a girl but it was a girl and was already changed to a man and was showing the process, and OMG I couldn't even tell he had surgery or nothing, he had no femininity at all, he sounded like he had a more manly voice than me and im like "wtf" rofl.

But to the reason i say this is because there was a guy that turned to a woman (was like 50 year old) and his wife stayed with him and it did a "2 years later" things and they was still together and "happily" married, I bet they was having sex with strap ons lol. But saying that she was like 40 something and I bet she was too scared to leave him because she didn't want to be alone and thought she was too old to get another man..

on that point I will shut up because i'm babbling now lol.

OHH a bunch of my friends and I were discussing that last night (before all hell broke loose at my house)... and we are all Republicans. But if it ended up being Obama and McCain.. we'd vote for Obama! lmfao. If it were Clinton and McCain.. we'd write in Ross Perot.. :D

No one is ever "too old" to find a mate. My grandmother (bless her heart).. met my step-grandfather when she was 65... they were together until his death (suicide) when she was 74. She's 82 now and she said if she were "healthy" that she'd be looking for a man... but she's been in and out of the hospital so she says she doesn't have time. LOL!!!!!!!!!

I am worried about Obama. This election is really going to be crap. If Ron Paul wasn't so loony on the war I would vote for him. I agree with 90% of his stands on the issues.

Only thing McCain and I agree on is the repealing of Roe v. Wade.
