Yeah, Rampage was on a totally different level in Pride. A lot of the Pride stars seem to have lost their edge once they moved to the UFC...it's sort of sad.



GSP is the welterweight champ, and Silva is the Middleweight champ. The weight difference isn't off by much, so a fight between the two is certaintly possible.

The only reason why I don't want to see this fight is simply because I've never liked the fighting styles of either of them. GSP is just so...bleh...he's got great stand-up and great ground, mainly cause of his incredible reach advantage, but I just never found any of his fights appealing. Anderson is a great fighter, but he's just too showy. He likes to show off too much, and that's just unsportsman-like. It'd be nice to see it if it ever happens, but I'd be perfectly happy if it didn't as well.

True, Silva's worked hard to get where he is, but the least he could do is show some humility. He's got incredible talent, and even more potential. He knows how to fight, and he knows what works for him during which situations. He doesn't get scared, and he doesn't back off. I'm anxious to see his upcoming fight with Chael Sonnen. I've only seen a couple of Sonnen's fights, but I was impressed. Sonnen is the type to not be afraid or cautious, which may not be the best way to approach Silva, but I guess I'll have to see how it plays out.

GSP...he's a great fighter, but please....he ruins it everytime he talks..I just can't stand his accent.
