Learning about EV training now and slowly lvling Solosis, its already lvl 38, about to 2nd evolve :p

Nata, while it's not a hold item, if you hit Archeops with a Gastro Acid attack, it should nullify it's ability. This also works well for Slaking's Traunt. This would work best in double battles though..

Yeah I know about Gastro Acid, would probably work really well in double battles, but in 1 vs 1 I dont think somebody would use Gastro Acid on Archeops :p

HOWEVER, I forgot about Co***rigus. But yea, only if someone sends him out will you get the ability mummy instead. If you have a Co***rigus you can whack the opponents Poke with an attack, transfer the ability, then either have Co***rigus faint or switch him out. Then put Archeops in there and either risk a OHKO or send him out after and whack the opponents poke and get mummy that way. You could Mean Look them if you get the chance so they can't swap out when the see Archeops come out. It's too bad it can't learn Stealth Rock or anything like that. :C
