I saw a thread in the "suggestions" side of the forums, and figured I'd bring the idea here...

Why is it that the "new" +7 and +8 stones that can be bought in the offline TG cost just over 40 and 122 db's each, respectively, when you can take a +9 item to +10 with 12 db's, then to +11 with 25, and +12 with only 40 db's?

What should TQ do to adjust this? Not like anyone from TQ will read this, but I'm curious to your ideas.

Also, what do you think about this whole change/disparity?

I think the reason for it was because getting to +9 was such a pain that they wanted it to be a little easier to get to +12 after working that hard to +9 your item. Just my guess.

Though, I think the cp prices for +7 and +8 stones are far too much. You could buy all +1 items and it would be cheaper than the price for the + stones.

Ok, but lets just put it to the math side...

Lets say your club/sword/blade is +7.

You need 2 +7 stones to make it +8 =>

+7 stone = 8748 cp's = 40.69 db's =>

Just at 82 db's to get something from +7 to +8 :eek::eek::eek:

And now... viola! it only takes you 12 db's to get to +9, which should cost, by their + stones math, 78732 cp's (or 367 db's) just for 1 +9 stone....

I'm just flummoxed by the wide change in going from "kicking major a**" to "omfg kicking major a**" and up.

It's better than saying "Pissed off"... lol

Part of me says "yes, make it difficult to + your gear" since we dont want the greenest noobs in kickin gear, but at the same time I say make it proportional.
